I am an MSc Bioinformatics student at Pwani University , sponsored by the German Academic Exchange service (DAAD). I hold a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and Technology from Chuka University.My research at KEMRI- Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP) aims to deepen understanding on the transmission dynamics of SARS-CoV2 recombinant variants in Kenya.My research interests includes use of bioinformatics for pipeline development and NGS data analysis especially for pathogen epidemiology.
