I am currently pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics, supported by the IDEAL at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI). My academic journey began with an undergraduate degree in Biotechnology, where I developed a strong foundation in biological sciences and laboratory techniques.
My current research project focuses on the immunocharacterization of Omicron variants, specifically examining their impact on the humoral immunity of local populations. This work aims to enhance our understanding of how these variants interact with the immune system, which is crucial for informing public health strategies and vaccine development.
Through my studies, I am committed to contributing to the field of molecular biology and bioinformatics, particularly in addressing the challenges posed by emerging infectious diseases. I am passionate about leveraging advanced bioinformatics tools to analyze complex biological data, ultimately aiming to improve health outcomes in my community and beyond.
