Felicity Nduku

Masters Fellow, Sub-Saharan Africa Advanced Consortium for Biostatistics (SSACAB)

I am an MSc Statistics student at Pwani University, sponsored by the Sub-Saharan Africa Advanced Consortium for Biostatistics (SSACAB) at the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme (KWTRP). I hold a postgraduate diploma in Data Science and Machine Learning from Moringa School and a BSc in Mathematics(Statistics) from Pwani University(2022). My research aims to deepen the understanding of SARS-CoV-2 dynamics in Kenya by estimating viral dynamics from Cycle threshold(Ct) value distributions. I aspire to apply and leverage the use of advanced statistical techniques and computational models to contribute to impactful research addressing both infectious and non-infectious global health challenges. As an aspiring researcher, I strive to use data-driven approaches to inform policies and improve healthcare outcomes globally.
