Damaris is a PhD Fellow at the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme. Her research focuses on the spatio-temporal transmission dynamics of Plasmodium falciparum in Kwale County, with the aim of informing endectocide-based intervention strategies. She is supervised by Dr. Marta Maia and Dr. Martin Rono. Damaris holds a master’s degree in Medical Statistics from the University of Nairobi where she identified risk factors of sexually transmitted infections among women seeking family planning services.
